New non-slip cover
The first thing we tackled in the Byron 2.0 Contigo series was the silicone cover located on the upper part of the mug. We added irregular, raised lines of varying sizes. Thanks to them, even when your hands are damp, the Contigo Byron thermal mug won’t slip out of your hands.
100% leak-proof Snapseal technology
Slide the lid lock up with your thumb and drink; slide it down to secure the spout. Could it be any simpler? Thanks to the Snapseal technology based on a latch seal, Byron 2.0 mugs are extremely easy to operate with one hand. This system provides full leak-proofness, so you can turn the product any way you like — even upside down.
Brilliant thermal performance
Your coffee warm for most of the workday? Yes, it’s possible! Contigo Byron 2.0 keeps drinks hot for up to six long hours and cold for up to twelve hours. In the larger 590 ml models, these values are seven hours and eighteen hours, respectively. Such remarkable performance is thanks to excellent Thermalock insulation.
Resistance to mechanical damage
Contigo Byron 2.0 thermal mugs are made of high-quality stainless steel (body) and durable plastic (lid, non-slip sleeve). Thanks to this, even if you lightly bump it against a hard object or drop it from a small height, the product should not get damaged.
Lid easy to clean
If hygiene and ease of cleaning are key to you, we’ve got great news. Every nook and cranny of the Contigo Byron 2.0 thermal mug lid can be cleaned with ease — both by hand and in the dishwasher. The lid supplied with every Byron 2.0 thermal mug is dishwasher-safe. For better results, open the spout before placing it in the dishwasher.

- Keep away from children when there is hot liquid in the vessel.
- To use the SNAPSEAL closure properly: snap the button up to drink (1), snap it down to close (2).
- Before drinking, check that the lid is properly screwed onto the body and tightened 100%.
- If pouring boiling water, allow to cool for at least 3 minutes, then close with the lid.
- Do not overfill. Pour liquid to a level below the body thread.
- Do not place in the microwave or freezer.
- Do not use cleaning products containing bleach, chlorine, abrasives or other aggressive chemicals.
