New anti-slip sleeve
First up in the Byron 2.0 Contigo series, we reworked the silicone sleeve located on the upper part of the mug. We added irregular, raised lines of varying sizes. Thanks to them, even with damp hands, the Contigo Byron thermal mug won’t slip from your grip.
100% leakproof SNAPSEAL™
Slide the lid’s lock up with your thumb to drink, slide it down to secure the spout. Could it be easier? Thanks to SNAPSEAL™ — a latch-seal technology — Byron 2.0 mugs are extremely easy to use one-handed. The system provides a fully leakproof seal, so you can even turn the mug upside down without worry.
Brilliant thermal performance
Hot coffee for most of your workday? Yes, it’s possible! Contigo Byron 2.0 keeps drinks hot for up to six long hours and cold for up to twelve. In the larger 590 ml size, these values are approximately seven and eighteen hours respectively. Such standout performance is thanks to excellent Thermalock™ insulation.
Resistance to mechanical damage
Contigo Byron 2.0 thermal mugs are made from high-quality stainless steel (body) and durable plastic (lid, anti-slip sleeve). As a result, a light bump against a hard object or a minor drop from a low height should not damage the product.
Lid easy to clean
If hygiene and ease of cleaning matter to you, here’s great news. Every nook of the Contigo Byron 2.0 lid is remarkably easy to clean — by hand or in the dishwasher. The lid included with every Byron 2.0 thermal mug is dishwasher-safe. For best results, open the spout before placing it in the dishwasher.

- Hot steam may escape from the hot contents. Relieve pressure by opening away from yourself.
- Keep away from children when there is hot liquid in the vessel.
- To use the SNAPSEAL closure properly: snap the button up to drink (1), snap it down to close (2).
- Before drinking, check that the lid is properly screwed onto the body and tightened 100%.
- If pouring boiling water, allow to cool for at least 3 minutes, then close with the lid.
- Do not overfill. Pour liquid to a level below the body thread.
- Do not place in the microwave or freezer.
- Do not use cleaning products containing bleach, chlorine, abrasives or other aggressive chemicals.
